cultural studies is
in danger of losing
its

dissolve into
another discipline
like sociology,
anthropology or
psychology. That
would be a great
shame. However,
as a collective
term for a number
of diverse and
often contentious
intellectual
endeavours that
expose power in
all its ubiquitous
forms, cultural
studies has a
great future.
As a dissenting
movement, cultural
studies can
remain open to
unexpected,
unimagined,
uninvited
possibilities -
especially those
that come from
outside the West.
