           I’ve heard that there are no coincidences in life. People
        come into and out of your life for a reason. There are les-
        sons to be learned and messages to be heard from everyone
        you meet. Are you listening? Are you connecting?

           • Do you normally reach out and ask other people for
             advice and support, or do you try to tackle things on
             your own?
           • Do you have a broad and diverse spectrum of rela-
             tionships in your active network, or are most of your
             relationships the same friends and colleagues that you
             have relied upon for some time now?
           • Do you take time to leverage your network by creat-
             ing linkages from one community to another, build-
             ing cooperative partnerships to achieve the greater
             goal?
           • Do you take the time to connect with others? Do you
             express true interest in their well-being and their
             ideas? Do you actively listen and withhold any judg-
             ment, with the intention of learning and being able
             to support them or connect their idea to another net-
             work or person?
