        In order to inspire a more resilient workforce and achieve
        real results in this business climate, leaders need to be awe-
        some communicators. In addition to applying the basics of
        being clear, concise, consistent, and compelling when
        transferring factual information, you need to be able to suc-
        cessfully deliver many other messages that are intended to
        affect specific situations and individuals. And we all know
        how difficult it is to just do the basics.
           Studies show that we spend close to 80 percent of our
        time communicating each day, and more than 60 percent
