Figure 6.1 is a plot of the heat of reaction and the equilibrium constant as a function of temperature,
evaluated from the information provided in Table 6.6. From these plots it is evident that the chemical
reaction is slightly exothermic, causing the equilibrium constant to decrease with temperature.
