In other words, the percentage of the responses for that dimension were cal-
culated for each of those who viewed the technology as a teammate and those
who viewed the technology as a tool. As shown in Fig. 6.3, those who viewed
the technology as a teammate reported a greater percentage of benevolence
and interdependence comments relative to those who viewed the technology
as a tool. In contrast, when participants viewed the technology as a tool, they
reported a greater percentage of comments that it would take humanness and
communication richness to view the technology as a teammate.
