step program for a successful career
transition, I’d like to offer some extra
Ntips and tricks to you. I’ve found that
it never hurts to use a little magic to
make things happen faster. Again, this
stuff may sound a bit out-there, but there
                                                          Fortune sides with him

Feng Shui Tips for Career Success

If you are feeling stuck in a rut or trapped in a job that you don’t
particularly like, are unemployed and looking for work, or are
eager to advance in your current career, then you may want to do
a few little feng shui experiments. One of my favorite books on
this topic is Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life by Karen Rauch
Carter. I’m a proponent of applying simple feng shui techniques
after being highly skeptical initially. Here are a few tips from feng
shui to help boost your career possibilities—keep in mind that
these nuggets do not do justice to this ancient art, but they fill the
bill as some basic starting points:

→ Make sure your desk faces the door but isn’t in direct line
with it. You never want your back toward the door. You need to be
able to look up and see who is coming into your office, but at the
same time, you don’t want your desk to be directly in front of the
door. Just make sure that you can look up and see who is coming
