fact that the artist was famous did not offset the sheer violence
of the scene. I later found out that they had a very unsatisfying
personal life along with constant career troubles. I’m not surprised
given the subject matter of the print and its location near the
career area of their home.
→ Get rid of clutter at home and at work. I’ve emphasized this
concept in previous chapters because it’s critical to your professional
success! In the world of feng shui, clutter represents stuck energy.
So, if you feel mired at work or in a job you don’t like, then get busy
clearing the clutter! Start with your front entrance and work your
way around the house room by room. If that seems overwhelming,
grab a shopping bag and, every day, put six things into it that you
can readily get rid of, and then drop the bag off at your favorite
charity. Do this for one week. You’ll soon be unstuck and on your
way to a successful career. In fact, some clients find that as soon as
they clear the clutter, they end up attracting a great job and don’t
even have to do the rest of the exercises in the program.
These tips apply whether you live in a house, an apartment, or
some other type of domicile. I know that the whole concept of feng
shui sounds wacky to the Westerner, but the way I figure it is that
the techniques are easy and relatively inexpensive to implement,
so why not take a shot? If they work, you win. If not, you’ve lost
nothing. If nothing else, consider the implementation of these tips
a powerful ritual that will enhance your career success. The art
of feng shui has been practiced for more than two thousand years
in Eastern countries, and the concept is growing more and more
popular worldwide, so there’s certainly something going on there!
