The reader must remember a crucial point with regard to
the IS transformation that we have just described,
concerning the use of the process repository.

The process repository intervenes in the last stage of the
transformation, once the data and the rules are properly
handled within the data and rules repositories. Too often,
companies adopt a contradictory approach that aims, first of
all, to deploy a business process repository. Due to the fact
that they use rules and data, it is easy to predict that the
processes will remain of a mediocre quality until this data
and these rules are better managed in the repositories.
