Chapter 19: Generating Pivot Tables 257
13. Rename the Chart1 sheet to Pivot Chart and then reposition this sheet so that it
follows the Employee Data List worksheet in the workbook.
14. Select the Sheet1 tab and then rename this worksheet tab to Pivot Table.
Reposition this sheet between the Employee Data List and Pivot Chart sheets
in the workbook.
Note that this pivot table created by Excel not only reflects the structure of the
Clustered Column pivot chart that you just created but actually forms the basis
from which the pivot chart is drawn. This means that any changes that you make
to the underlying pivot table immediately affects the structure of the associated
pivot chart as well.
15. Select cell A1 on the Employee Data List worksheet and then save your work
with the filename Solved19-6.xls in your Chapter 19 folder in the My Practice
Spreadsheets folder. Close the workbook file as you exit Excel.
