Step 8: Apply Loads
Right-click on Static Structural (A5). Choose Insert and then Force. In the
Details of “Force”, change Define By to Components. Apply a -300 N force for
Y Component to the bottom edge of the rightmost face, as shown below.

Step 9: Retrieve Solution
Insert a Total Deformation item by right-clicking on Solution (A6) in the Outline
tree.
Insert an Equivalent Stress item by right-clicking on Solution (A6) in the Outline
tree.
Right-click on Solution (A6) in the Outline tree and select Solve. The program
will start to solve the model. After completion, click Total Deformation in the
Outline to review the total deformation results.
