                  3.1.3 Case 3: Identification of the composition of sludge on the surface
                  of the compressor wall from car air conditioner
                  In the following case, sludge on the surface of the compressor wall from a car air
                  conditioner was identified. Figure 17.8a and b shows the fragment of the compressor
                  wall from the car air conditioner and a magnified view of the sludge allocation on the
                  surface of the investigated component, respectively. Figure 17.9 shows the pyrogram
                  of the examined sludge pyrolyzed at 700 °C. The pyrolysis products identified by
                  using mass spectral library NIST 05 are summarized in Table 17.3. Based on the iden-
                  tified decomposition products, the sludge was identified as a mixture of SBR,
