                                      USE & PERFORMANCE
Outstanding properties: Thermally stable. Increase gloss and produce a long wave effect. It
reduced the surface tension only to a slight extent and did not impair the recoatability and the inter-
coat adhesion. The additive combined the best anti-cratering effect with optimum leveling and
DOI (distinctness of image). Fish eyes and pinholes in the powder coating layer were prevented. It
did not cause haze in pigmented powder coatings and did not cause turbidity in powder clearcoats.
Its low viscosity and good compatibility enabled easy incorporation in the resin when producing
the masterbatch. Improved leveling. Prevented boiling marks in baking systems and has an air-
releasing effect. It reduced the orange peel effect by optimizing the leveling properties of the pow-
der coating. Extremely effective, innovative leveling additive for powder coatings. Its excellent
dispersability promoted gloss and leveling in powder coatings and prevents seeds, craters, and fish
eyes. Improves the leveling properties in gel coats that were based on unsaturated polyester resins.
Maintained recoat adhesion. APEO-free, NMP-free and formaldehyde-free. Efficient against oil
contamination. Crosslinkable leveling additive to improve flow and surface quality.
Recommended for polymers: acrylic, alkyd, alkyd-melamine, nitrocellulose, polyester resins,
epoxy resins, PU, acrylate resins, polyester/epoxy combinations, epoxy esters, PA/amines system
Recommended for products: clear powder coatings, printing inks, varnishes, solvent-borne baking
systems, coil coatings, wood and furniture coatings, industrial and architectural coatings
Concentrations used, wt%: 0.1-3% of total formulation
