ration. Huge-scale PV installations have also been set up using string inverters, for
investigation at the Mont-Cenis Academy in Germany. String inverter topology is of
one PV string connected to the grid by means of a single inverter. So the benefit of
this topology is to conciliate between central inverter and module-integrated inverter
topologies. PV solar systems accommodated with string inverters are remarkably
expensive to maintain [17]. The most noticeable problem is that the installation can
only be supervised at a system level, not at the distinct level of each module.
Multi-string inverters contain, in single unit, various individual DC–DC and maxi-
mum power tracking converters, which provides the energy into a common DC–AC
