168 Data Interpretation
The NMR tool (discussed in Section 6.4.4) provides the best estimate of
permeability from any logging tool. The relaxation of the hydrogen proton
magnetic alignment is dependant upon the pore size. The NMR signal will indicate
a pore size distribution which is manipulated using empirical equations into a
