Market Yourself
Some call it tooting your own horn, but the fact is there’s nothing
wrong with that. Part of doing a good job is hitting your perfor-
mance targets and taking credit for them. But you don’t have to
develop a hard-hitting salesperson’s personality if you don’t have one.
Marketing your value and leadership across the organization just
means letting people know who you are, what you’ve done, and what
you can do. Prepping for it requires knowing your value and learn-
ing to share it with the right people, at the right time, and for the
right reasons.
