Chapter 9: Asking for What You Want

               • Recognize Asking for What You Want as Your Sticky Floor
                 • When was the last time you asked for a raise or
                   promotion?
                 • Do you communicate your expectations to your team
                   members up front?
                 • Do you take the initiative to tell others what you want
and need—like more visibility, time off, or additional
                   benefits?
                 • Do you ask for specific assignments or projects and feel
free to say no to others?
