Balancing Your Work and Life 55
The shape of the wheel doesn’t really matter because it will change.
The power of the wheel comes in the questions you can ask yourself
once you’ve completed it. Try to answer as honestly as you can.
Now Questions
• What does your wheel look like today?
• Are you living your life in a way that is aligned with your
values and priorities?
• Are you paying attention to the parts of your life that are
most important to you?
• What parts are being slighted? Do you want to do anything
about that? What might you do and what’s a reasonable
timeframe for getting started?
• If you want to make some changes to better address some
aspect of your life, what will you need to do? Or, what will
you need to stop doing?
Future Questions
• What do you want your wheel to look like two or three
years from now?
• What are the obstacles you’ll face in getting it to look like
that?
• What opportunities can you take advantage of to build
toward that future wheel?
