                    Finally, remember that you only perceive a part of the overall crys-
                  talline network of your workplace. Those dotted lines that extend
                  off the page are the people who aren’t a part of your daily work life

                  but do exert influence within their own spheres. If your new partner-
                  in-culture is connected to some of these people, the effects of your
                  influence will go there too. Like a ripple in a giant lake, the changes

                  you’re role-modeling radiate beyond the limits of your awareness.

                  behavior means that your new cultural patterns gain indirect infl u-
