Have we convinced you yet that moving to mobility is inevitable for
your organization? If not, that’s what we’ll try to do in this chapter.
Here we’ll talk about why it is imperative to think about your organi-
zation in new ways if you want to survive and thrive. We’ll share why
moving to a mobile workforce is practically unavoidable. It doesn’t
matter if your organization has 300,000 employees or 15. It is not a
choice you have to make. It’s happening! Your decision will be when
to move to mobility, not if, and even that choice may also be made for
you, as your employees acquire devices and software that give them
many work options. Isn’t it nice to have one fewer decision you have
to stew over? In this chapter we’ll share not what to do but how to
think about it. The world is transforming before your eyes—are your
