The method detects accurately the efficiency of a three-way catalytic converter regardless of
the deterioration of the oxygen sensors.
In fig. 45 and fig. 46 ratios of signal lengths L and ratios of signal areas A are shown for
normal and degraded catalytic converters respectively.
