            As seen in Table 4.1, new models or refined models still need to be developed for reli-
         able CFD of coal and biomass cofiring. For example, motion and conversion of biomass
         particles, conversion of the dense fuel bed or a packed fuel bed in fluidized bed or grate
         boilers, or gas radiation and gas combustion under oxy-fuel conditions all need special
         attention in modeling. More detailed and accurate experimental data are also needed to
         validate the individual new models and various coal/biomass cofiring CFD.
