Guéguen and Palciaukas (1994) give an introduction to rock physics. Dullien (1979)
examines the relationship between transport properties and pore structure of porous mate-
rials. Monicard (1980) deals with laboratory measurements of rock properties. Turquato
(2002) is a broad presentation of construction and reconstruction of porous media and
their properties. Clauser and Huenges (1995) present thermal conductivities for rocks and
minerals.
