ADDING A SECOND DECK
The one- deck BasicBot has room for a small microcontroller board, mini solderless bread-
board, and a four- cell AAA battery holder. You can increase the area of the BasicBot if you
need more space. Make a second deck with another 5″-diameter circle. Drill matching holes
in both the bottom and the second deck. Use 1″- or 1- 1/2″-long metal or plastic standoffs to
act as “risers” to separate the two decks.
