            mined. This is accomplished by laying out the indicator positions
            in reverse.
                 By constructing the horizontal line from the point where the
            hot alignment line crosses the rim indicator line, both the rim and
            face readings can be measured. Simply count or measure the dis-
            tance from the indicator locations back to the cold alignment line.
            In this example the rim reads plus one mil (+1) and the face reads
            zero. When the face reading is zero, the two shafts are parallel
