The retail industry is a sector of the economy that is comprised of individuals and
companies engaged in the selling of finished products to end users in the general public.
The retail trade sector comprises establishments engaged in retailing merchandise,
generally without transformation, and rendering services incidental to the sale of
                    merchandise.
The retailing process is the final step in the distribution of merchandise; retailers
are, therefore, organized to sell merchandise in small quantities to the general public.
There are two types of retailers in the industry:

1 Store retailers—Those engaged in the sale of products from physical locations,
which warehouse and display merchandise with the intent of attracting customers
                       to make purchases on site.
