There are two organizations that represent the artists and producers of most
modern music that is published—BMI and ASCAP (see the Music Licensing in
Resources for Trainers section in the appendices for contact information). For a
yearly licensing fee paid to these organizations, you can obtain copyright permis-
sion to play songs by the musicians they represent.
Music reduces stress, relieves anxiety, increases energy and
improves recall. Music makes people smarter.
