USGBC Rating System
This credit helps facilitate bicycle transportation as an alternative to SOV transportation.
It was worth one point in LEED 2.2 and is worth one point in LEED 2009. LEED-NC 2.2
lists the Intent, Requirements, and Potential Technologies and Strategies for this credit
as follows, with minor modifications for LEED 2009:

Intent
Reduce pollution and land development impacts from automobile use.
Requirements
LEED 2009 Case 1: For commercial or institutional buildings, provide secure bicycle racks
and/or storage (within 200 yards of a building entrance) for 5% or more of all building users
