“No, Felix! Not again! Over, and over, and over! We decide something
one meeting and then go over it again the next meeting and again the next.
What a waste!”
“What do you mean, Cam?” asks Felix, Falcon Security’s customer service
manager. “I think it’s important we get this right.”
“Well, Felix, if that’s the case, why don’t you come to the meetings?”
“I just missed a couple.”
“Right. Last week we met here for, oh, 2, maybe 3 hours, and we decided to
print and assemble a new prototype quadcopter using as many 3D-printed parts
as possible.”
“But Cam, 3D printing a stationary recharging platform is a lot different than
3D printing a complex machine like a drone. What difference does it make if we
print a drone that can’t fly?”
“Felix! We discussed that last week. We found some existing drone plans that
we can use for free. They’ve already been tested, and they do work. We’re going
to see if we can use existing internal components from an existing quadcopter in
the new 3D-printed quadcopter. It might even be possible to use generic parts to
reduce costs even more.”
