Eighth-Degree Polynomial Curve
The eighth-degree polynomial has acceleration characteristics between the harmonic
and cycloidal curves. It has an asymmetrical acceleration at the dwell rise or end. The
curve can also be blended conveniently with other curves at its maximum rise point.
