Numerical simulation unveils the underlying mechanisms of heat generation and the
transfer of this procedure. It convincingly evidences the discrepancies between the ther-
mal loads in the two models (temperature field, power levels, etc.) and the pending
hypothermic or ablative effects. This information is particularly important to thermally
approach the tumor volume and to avoid the surrounding healthy tissue perturbation.
