OrganizationdThis element covers the various roles and organization charts. DG will need awareness
of this to manage who stakeholders and decision makers are. Granted, this is not an element you would
need to place in an expensive tool. A spreadsheet would probably suffice with most organizations, but
larger organizations may require a database of some sort, or use of the organizational entities in an
enterprise modeling tool.

Business information requirementsdThis element must be traceable by DG. This is because it is
critical to ensuring business alignment. In addition, one area where organizations go awry in the
information realm is the poor identification and tracking of requirements. A critical function of DG is
to monitor and review the development of EIM requirements:
• Metric or measurement
• List or domain
• Event
• Subject
