As mentioned earlier, the above diagram is a generalization,

which means that it doesn’t always have to be like that.

However, even if a person is looking in another direction than

the diagram states, usually the sensory predicates and eye
accessing cues will be permanent and fixed for them. So, for

example, looking to their left to remember sounds. The next

time they want to access the same type of information, they

will quite likely look in the same direction as it’s a fixed habit

type of process.
