                   Floating bearing arrangements are also cross located and are suitable where demands
                 regarding axial location are moderate or where other components on the shaft serve to
                 locate it axially. Deep groove ball bearings will satisfy this arrangement, Fig. 3.11C.
                   In many applications, the load can be predominantly axial, for example a vertically
                 mounted motor and pump. In these applications thrust bearings are used to minimise
                 the friction between the axial loaded shaft and a second, normally stationary, compo-
                 nent. Two examples of thrust bearings are shown in Fig. 3.12;
