Service Heads Removable Cap
A service head is a specialized conduit fitting that is specifi- Service Head
cally designed to interface a building’s electrical system to the
power grid. Figure 10-70 shows a typical service head instal-
lation on a residential building. The head is typically mounted
to the end of a piece of galvanized rigid conduit. The conduit Power Cable
