Figure 2.17 shows alogo for a Hotel Continental and consists of two ellipses. Ellipse A has
a major axis of 100 and minor axis of 60. Ellipse B has a major axis of 120 and a minor
axis of 80. Draw the profile of the logo and fully dimension the solution. Use the BREAI(
and TRIM features to delete the contours where the letter 'H' is positioned.
The example in Fig. 2.18 shows a sign designed from arrows in elliptical orbit. The
construction steps are as follows. Draw an ellipse with major axis 100mm and minor
axis of 60mm. Add three circles of 16mm radius with their centres on the ellipse. Draw
one arrow 8mm long and 6mm wide.
Choose Copy in the Construct menu and the command line reads Select obj ects: .
Draw a box to enclose the arrow by clicking on a point below the bottom left-hand corner
