I didn’t mention it at the interview, but I happen to
have experience with the marketing of D-Trek 5001
type software. I planned and executed a similar launch
in my prior position at 4Tell, and I ended up saving the
company almost a quarter of a million dollars by incor-
porating a direct-mailing component into the project.
I believe that I have the wisdom gained from experi-
ence to be instrumental in the same kinds of substan-
tial savings for Ionit, and, if hired, I plan to present sev-
eral scenarios that I think would be beneficial for the
Minneapolis effort. I also am free to relocate there
until the product is off to a healthy introduction.
Again, thank you for your time in the interview. If you
have any questions I can answer or if you would like to
see a sample proposal for my idea on the Minneapolis
project, I would be happy to oblige.

Every time you send a piece of written communication to a
hiring manager, follow it up within one to three days of its
expected arrival with a phone call. Conversely, every time you talk
to a hiring manager by phone, follow it up with a quick letter or
e-mail.
This letter-phone-letter approach has been proven to work (as
long as you have permission from the hiring manager to keep
