The Geo-Heat Center at Oregon Institute of Technology (http://geoheat.oit.edu/)
The OIT and the Geo-Heat Center monitor assessments and provide access to reports deal-
ing with the assessments for low and high temperature resources.
The Great Basin Center for Geothermal Energy, University of Nevada, Reno (http://www.unr.edu/
            Geothermal/)
This research center is an excellent resource for information on geothermal in general and
its attributes and availability within the Basin and Range Province in particular. A substan-
tial amount of information is available on the Web site.
            The International Geothermal Association (http://www.geothermal-energy.org/index.php)
The IGA provides updated summaries of international resource assessments. It is an
important resource for accessing global data relevant for geothermal energy use.
            United States Geological Survey (http://www.usgs.gov/)
The USGS is currently completing the most extensive assessment of geothermal resources in
the United States. This Web site provides access to the results, as they are published, as well as
a wealth of information relating to geothermal resources and the geology controlling them.
