            9.21 MEMBRANES

            Lignocellulose acts as a natural adhesion promoter in fiber-reinforced composites contain-
            ing cellulose nanofibrils and polysulfone (see Figure 8.8 showing origins of adhesion). 1

                The adhesion promoter constituent of interference rejection membrane comprises a

            silane compound such as γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane.
                A film membrane with excellent weather-resistant properties, a high transmission of
            solar thermal radiation, effective retention of thermal radiation emitted by the earth and a
            high degree of mechanical strength contains adhesion promoter in a layer between ethyl

            vinyl  acetate  and  polymethylmethacrylate.   The  adhesion  promoter  consists  modified

            PMMA (Bynel 22 E 780).
