Lignocellulose acts as a natural adhesion promoter in fiber-reinforced composites contain-
ing cellulose nanofibrils and polysulfone (see Figure 8.8 showing origins of adhesion). 1

The presence of lignocellulose improved properties of membranes.
The adhesion promoter constituent of interference rejection membrane comprises a

silane compound such as γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane.
A film membrane with excellent weather-resistant properties, a high transmission of
solar thermal radiation, effective retention of thermal radiation emitted by the earth and a
high degree of mechanical strength contains adhesion promoter in a layer between ethyl
3
vinyl acetate and polymethylmethacrylate. The adhesion promoter consists modified

PMMA (Bynel 22 E 780).
