xliv Introduction

Construction task: Boilermakers are connecting boiler tubes in the mud and
steam drums.
The work is expected to take several months, and the work sampling occurs
at the start of the overall work.
The study runs for 3 weeks for a crew of 14 boilermakers.
Productivity is determined to be RF¼0.95. A total of N¼100 tubes are
installed and N i ¼0.61 for an allowance of 20% per tube.
