4. Machining point and supporting points of the machine tool, i.e., start-
ing and terminal points in the FOF
It is worth suggesting that the structural pattern corresponds actu-
ally to the directed graph in the field of graph theory, showing obviously
the property of each point (vertex) in the graph by the GT code.
Consequently, the structural pattern can be used to evaluate the struc-
tural similarities among various kinds, to estimate structural configu-
rations possible to manufacture from a predetermined group of
structural units, to generate a new structural configuration by modify-
ing and deploying a graph, to produce the concept drawing by reconfig-
uring the graph, and so on [16]. These applications can claim as the
