are routinely used to characterize the fluids, it is expected that sets of
rules established for PVT correlation selection might yield inaccuracies
in some situations. However, the use of such rules is still beneficial, as
Problem 2 demonstrates. The use of rules can often result in selection of
reasonably accurate correlations, even if the technique does not lead to
selection of the most accurate correlation(s) for every fluid or for every
PVT property.
