A Biorefinery approach towards development of renewable platform chemicals 143
have gained wide attention due to impressive characteristics. The biomass that was
historically considered as uneconomic needs extensive research for its commercial
application. The processing and pretreatment of biomass require wide attention as
they are significantly important for the production of platform chemicals. The basic
pathway and catalog of precursor are extremely important criteria for the production
of fine chemicals. Biotechnological method and intensive metabolic engineering
have outsourced ample deliberation for the enhancement of platform chemicals.
