chances of getting the job you want. There are numerous
resources available that will help you to produce a winning
résumé, dress for success, and follow up with thank-you
notes. This chapter touches on these issues briefly, only as
they relate to the use of features and benefits.
BEFORE THE INTERVIEW
Every job search starts with a résumé. Yours needs to be great.
Use active verbs and actual statistics. The more you can quan-
tify your accomplishments, the better qualified you’ll seem
for the job you want. Develop a clear, concise résumé, and
