addresses. It is also a good idea to print out some busi-
ness cards with your contact information. You can pur-
chase sheets of blank business cards at any office supply
store, and templates are available for most word-
processing programs.
11. Try to be around near the end of the job fair and return
to the companies that interest you most. During any
spare time at the fair, write a thank-you note, and give
it to your interviewer on the spot. He or she will be
impressed and may give you a chance to talk some
more.
12. Dress is important in this situation because many job
seekers at these fairs are very casual. Proper dress will
help you to stand out in the crowd.
13. Job fairs are usually long and exhausting. Eat a good
breakfast before you go. Wear comfortable shoes because
you likely will be on your feet most of the time, and
choose clothes that will stay crisp all day. Finally, take
occasional breaks to eat, freshen up, or recompose
yourself.
