10.2.2.6 Information Radiators
Information radiators are large, graphic displays of software project status used to communicate project information.
They are frequently updated and located where the project team and others can easily see them. Common kinds of
information radiators include task boards, burnup and burndown graphs, defect reports, status of rework, and so forth.
A storyboard is a kind of information radiator for a software project. Sticky notes that describe project tasks
are placed on a white board. The columns of a storyboard can be used to display items such as stories, tasks in
progress, tasks completed, and story bugs (defects). The rows show the progress work items across the columns.
A storyboard is depicted in Figure 10-2.
