The washing may be continued until conductivity measurements of
the condensate or exhaust steam indicate that no further deposits are
being dissolved. Additionally, it is appropriate to note that the trip-
throttle valve should be checked to be certain it is operating satisfacto-
rily since washing may not thoroughly clean deposits from this valve
and that if carryover deposits are not also cleaned from the piping
between the boiler and the turbine, this carryover may be deposited in
the turbine in a very short period after washing.
