sumption and demand. The planned new buildings are similar to the existing
buildings in that they are administrative rooms, classrooms, or computer
laboratory rooms. Given this, it was assumed that energy consumption asso-
ciated with the new buildings would result in a linear increase to LACC’s
energy demand proportional to the building square footage increase planned
