Next, solder (or otherwise attach) each of the three wires to the DB9 connec-
tor as shown in the table. Looking at the back of a DB9 male connector, the
pins are numbered from right to left on the top row. The rightmost pin is num-
ber 1, and the leftmost is number 5.
