Chapter 5 Checking Out the Robot 95
The main software page contains three programs you can download and
use with your PPRK. They are ServoTest.prc, PenFollow.prc, and Robot1.prc.
❏ ServoTest.prc This program does exactly what the title implies:
it tests the servos. This is a good program to install and run when
you’re verifying the operation of your new robot.
❏ PenFollow.prc This program moves the robot in response to
your moving the stylus across the PDA screen. In other words, the
robot follows the direction of pen movement on the Palm screen.
❏ Robot1.prc This program has several routines to control the
robot, including following a wall or a target, moving and spinning
simultaneously, and displaying the readings from the infrared (IR)
