44 The Ultimate Palm Robot
B y now, you’ve gotten a kit, or the parts you need, and are ready to start
building the robot. If you have one of the barebones kits from Acroname,
or you collected the parts yourself, you’ll want to start at the beginning of
this chapter—”Building the PPRK with the Pontech Controller.”
If you have one of the easy kits, you can skip ahead to the section “Building
the Frame.” If you have the BrainStem kit from Acroname, you’ll want to skip
ahead to the section “Building the PPRK with the BrainStem Controller.”
Finally, if your kit has many different little colored plastic pieces that look
like Legos, you have the wrong book. May we recommend that you check out
Robot Invasion, which Dave wrote; it has three different projects that build fun
robots out of Legos.
Building the PPRK with the Pontech Controller

❏ One acrylic deck
❏ Three white connector housings
❏ Five black connector housings
❏ One red connector housing
